December Artworks are out now!

The December Artwork of the Week Bundle is out now! This month’s theme is identity, with artworks that encourage students to look inside of themselves to see what makes them tick (and what’s inside other people too).

Login and download it here.

Miquel Barceló, Sopa d’Europa

Introduce your students to one of the most prominent Spanish contemporary artists alive today. Explore one of his most introspective and textured works through kinesthetic and writing activities.

Shirin Neshat, Rebellious Silence

Taken from the artist’s Women of Allah photographic series, this artwork invites students to ponder complex, interconnected religious and social identities. The text featured in the artwork is from a poem, making poetry a perfect pairing for this work of art.

Diego Velázquez, Las Meninas

Using theatre-inspired kinesthetic and writing activities, your students will discover one of the world’s most famous paintings and compare it to other artworks it inspired through the ages.

Peggy Lipschutz, Wrested Heart

Explore music and poetry with an artwork will encourage students to explore their own empathy and what is close to their hearts.

What’s coming up?
