I hope you are having a great July and soaking in your last bits of summer.
This week we have a couple of new resources for you! Remember to log in before clicking the links below.
Art Appreciation Bell Ringers
One of the easiest ways to incorporate more art appreciation activities in your classroom is to work them into your bellwork! Check out this PowerPoint of 50 artworks with bellringer prompts so you always have something on hand for when the kids walk in the door! This also includes a file of images to print so you can have the students cut out and paste into their notes.
On the Europe trip, I had a great conversation with your fellow member Alex Thorniley about how she had her elementary students reflect on their work. She allowed me to create a printable worksheet to include in the Resource Library! I like how it has students think about the viewer of their artwork. Check it out here.
Art History Study Guide – New Design
The art history study guide has a brand new design! You can pick it up here. I kept the old design up as well in case you’re attached to it. 🙂
Have a great week, and I’ll see you again on August 1 for your next update!
