You want your students to have a grasp on what they are seeing when they look at art, to be able to confidently analyze works of art and the meaning behind them. You want your students to appreciate art because it’s part of who we are and how we communicate as humans.

Art is our history, our future, our dreams, our culture. You want your students to understand that, even if they don't go on to become artists.

It's time to rise up and become an...

Inspired Art Connector!

What's been stopping you from showing more art to your students?

Teachers deal with many challenges in the classroom. It’s rare that just one obstacle is in our way.

Which of these applies to you? (...if not all of them)

Tired and stressed teacher in classroom
  • You feel stuck and unmotivated when it comes to leading art discussions because of your students just don't seem to care about anything more than their phones. You struggle getting students, admin, and parents to understand the value of looking at art instead of just making it.

  • You are already too busy and using all of your extra time to mentor students, hang art in the halls, and clean paintbrushes. You wonder how to fit in all of the research needed to show art into your already too-full schedule.

  • You feel unqualified to teach art history due to a lack of knowledge of all of the details of art and artists. You're scared that you won't know the answer to the questions they ask.

  • You know you are a great art teacher but the lack of critical thinking and art connections in your classroom keep you up at night. You feel like something is missing, like you are chasing an unattainable goal.

You want to reach all of your students and show them the power of art, making it and connecting with it. This is possible.

You are amazing. You’re an art teacher, so I know it’s true.

You spend your days helping kids get in touch with their creative side. You give them the supplies, the knowledge, and the freedom they need to create art.

But something is missing.

You know they need to look at art. Think about art. Be inspired by art. But the bell is already ringing and their hands are still covered in paint and the floor is littered with scraps of their imagination.

How do you find the time?
Where do you find the resources?
How do you combat the apathy and show the value of art education?

Inspired Art Connectors are...

...passionate, joyful, and organized teachers who have rediscovered the joy of teaching and who relish in the delight of student art connections.

They take risks.
They explore.
They model the passion and curiosity for the world that they want for their students.

And they don’t let their circumstances dictate what’s possible.

When you start thinking like an inspired art connector, you’ll get totally clear on what you need to do to turn your classroom into a connected, joyful, and inspired learning environment.

At the end of each day, you’ll ditch the defeat and be calm in the knowledge that you made a difference

You’ll reach more students. You’ll have more powerful teaching moments.

Your classroom will change, your students will grow, and the ripple effect of each of the powerful art connections that you facilitate will carry on for generations.

Hear how one Curated Connections Library member is inspiring art connections in her classroom below.

How Liz went from no time to intentional time! (And how you can to!)

What do students learn from looking at art? EVERYTHING.

It’s obvious that you want to make the time to show your students more art.

For many reasons.

  • To make them better artists.
  • Show them what’s possible.
  • Give them inspiration.
  • To connect them to the world around them.
  • To make them more empathetic, connected humans of the world.

But when? And what has to give to make this a reality?

Another hour stayed after school, another round of McDs picked up for the fam on the way home, another Sunday evening spend cuddled with your gradebook rather than your puppy?

But, what if it wasn’t an impossible time crunch? What if it was all ready for you? Waiting to be seamlessly added to your awesome studio curriculum….

  • Art discussions that reach past the apathy and show students the power of art in their lives.
  • Ready-to-teach lessons about artworks from across time and cultures.
  • Trainings and techniques that will inspire students and impress admins.

With the Curated Connections Library, that impossible dream is a reality. Pick and choose which artworks and activities work for your students and the way you teach.

I could tell you what incredible artists and thinkers your students will become with a little added art appreciation, but I’ll let you discover that for yourself!

It’s time to Curate Powerful Art Connections in your Classroom with the help of the Curated Connections Library.

Introducing the...

Art Class Curator will help you create the spark and inspiration you want in your classroom...

  • Without the added time spent researching and scrolling Pinterest.

  • Without the fear of no student engagement.

What Other Teachers Are Saying About The Curated Connections Library

"[The Curated Connections Library] is a resource that is incredibly worth it. It is something that you'll use over and over again. It's something that you'll not only use over and over again, but as [they] continue to add new content to it, it's like you can go back in and just continue to build on what you've already done. I can go in there and look at some of the thinking. It just makes my life easier. It gives me more time to really polish the lesson rather than spend all my time researching the lesson."

Cathye P.

"Interestingly, my lower performing classes really get engaged in these [lessons] and come away with some profound thoughts!"

Melissa G.

Middle School Art Teacher

"I just wanted to thank you for the invaluable resource you have through Art Class Curator. Not only do you have thought provoking activities and discussion prompts, but it saves me so much time in preparing things for myself! In fact, I'm using the Aesthetics powerpoint tomorrow with one of my middle school classes and I can't wait for some of the answers they come up with. And really, I feel like I've only scratched the surface with your site as there's still so much more there for me to look through. Thank you so much for your service. I'm so glad to have found you and your site! I think you've done such an amazing job with it."

What Even More Art Teachers Are Saying...

"I have enjoyed being a part of your group. It's so much more than I would have thought when I signed up. I've been a part of a couple other teaching sites that faded after a good start, but I'm so excited with YOUR enthusiasm and your breadth of knowledge. I feel like I'm able to do more and stay more well-rounded in my presentations than I have been in the past."

Chris S.

"The materials are high quality, and students LOVED this lesson [Classical Sculpture lesson] -- I was amazed at what they were able to do together. I highly recommend you find an excuse to purchase this and use it with your students -- I can't wait to use it again next year! Thank you for your thoughtfulness in putting this together -- I didn't need to edit anything!"

The Benefits of Your Membership, From the Mouths of Our Members!

The Curated Connections Library is NOT for everyone.

Thousands of teachers have inspired their students through The Curated Connections Library, and this is the only place on the internet where you will find comprehensive, creative, and innovative art appreciation and art history resources.

But, is this right for you?

The Curated Connections Library is a comprehensive vault of resources and trainings dedicated to fostering an environment of delight, connection, thoughtfulness, and passion through the introduction of curated works of art into your curriculum.

You will not find...

  • Cookie cutter crafts

  • Step-by-step drawing instructions

  • One-size-fits-all curriculum

  • Teacher-centered, lecture-based activities

  • Focus on Famous, Dead White Guys

Instead, we have...

  • Deep, higher-level thinking

  • Personal connections and powerful conversations

  • Focus on ideas and interpretations rather than facts and details

  • Student-centered, Constructivist learning

  • Artworks that span times and cultures, genders and colors

The Curated Connections Library works best for teachers who understand that every classroom and every group of students are different. There is no one-size-fits-all solution to teaching art, so we strive to provide diversity, insight, education, and inspiration so that you can pick and choose the right artworks for your classroom.

Is The Curated Connections Library for You?

Yes! If you want to inspire powerful art connections in your students, engage them in fun and exciting ways, reclaim the joy in your teaching, and save hours of time and research.

From kinder to college, you’ll find resources for your students.

Of course, a kindergartener and a college student are at two totally different levels.

But you can show the same artwork to kinders and collegiates, ask the same question, and you will get very different, equally meaningful art discussions. The Art Appreciation Master Class helps you understand how the Art Class Curator teaching methodologies work for all ages and levels.

You know your students better than anyone else. Take the lessons in The Curated Connections Library and adapt them to fit your classroom.

Not interested in tailoring the lessons to your students? This may not work for you.

The Curated Connections Library is for teachers who know that they are the expert on their students. You know what works for them, and we’ll provide the resources, inspiration, and education to fill in the gaps, relieve the pressure, and elevate the curriculum.

Need help deciding if this is right for you? Reach out in the chat box in the right hand corner of the page. We’re here to help.

About YOUR Art Teacher

ACC logo with Cindy

Hi! I’m Cindy Ingram, the creator of Art Class Curator and The Curated Connections Library.

I have the awkward habit of crying in front of artworks, and I want the rest of the world to do it too. This noble quest has culminated in the creation of Art Class Curator, where I share how to creatively teach art appreciation and art history in a way that will spark a lifelong personal connection to art.

I have more than fifteen years of experience in schools, museums, and non-profit organizations. I have an MA in Art Education and a BA in Art History. In addition to working in museums and teacher professional development, I have had the privilege of teaching art in the classroom to all grades–elementary to college.

I’ve been there, from the sleepless nights scrolling through the internet to binge-watching art history videos to prepare for my next class. I’ve done the work--crafted the lessons, tested them with students, and tweaked the plans to perfection--all so you don’t have to.

To date, I have not yet made any of my students cry (knowingly), but there’s still time.

But enough about me, let's hear from teachers who have impacted their students through using Art Class Curator's resources.

Your Most Popular Questions, Answered

Have a pressing question you need to be answered before joining the Curated Connections Library?

Below is a list of the most common questions we’ve been asked. If you don’t see your question below, just reach out to our live support team (bottom right-hand corner of this page) or email us at support@artclasscurator.com so we can assist you.

We teachers often have to spend hard-earned dollars to stock our classrooms with basic supplies.

Tissues. Markers. Pencils. Coffee. Posters. Glue sticks. Decorations. Paper. More coffee.

Art teachers rarely receive quality professional development either, so we pay our own way to conferences, forking out more for transportation and a hotel stay. And it’s all over in a weekend.

The Curated Connections Library is different.

Ongoing support. In-depth, on-demand training. New resources every month.
All this for little more than a dollar a day.
Your time is worth it.

Your students are worth it.

We offer two packages. The yearly package ($399/year) is for teachers who want to use a purchase order or prefer to save money by paying for the full year up front. Yearly members also have full access to the vault of resources and training with no limits.

The monthly package ($39/mo) is for teachers who need a more affordable option.

You can cancel at any time, and you will have access to the materials up until your next billing date.

The Curated Connections Library has content for all grade levels. Because our lessons are student-centered and discussion-based, they are easily adapted to a higher or a lower level. Cindy has taught all levels k-college

That being said, the majority of the resources were originally created for middle, high, and college.

Are you a middle school, high school, or college art teacher?  Then, you will definitely use and love the The Curated Connections Library. The materials are focused on art history and art appreciation, so if you're a rockstar studio teacher who needs help incorporating works of art into your curriculum, you're in the right place.

Elementary teachers may need to do some adaptation. However, the good news is that we have an elementary art teacher on the team who creates two units per month for the Library!

If you teach preschool or lower elementary (k-2), you will not find much in the library for your students.

The professional development sessions, such as the Art Appreciation Master Class, are beneficial for all art teachers. Cindy has taught all ages and uses the same discussion and engagement strategies on young students as she did with her college-age students. Do not underestimate how much meaning a child of any age can derive from a work of art!

If you have questions about whether or not this resource will work for you, please reach out to me by email or schedule a 1-on-1 call

If you join and find it doesn't suit your needs for your classroom, we're happy to refund you within 30 days--no questions asked!

There's no need! It's available to you right from the start.

In addition to all-time access to the Art Appreciation Master Class and art appreciation worksheets, all members have regular access to the current and past months' Artwork of the Week Bundles and monthly themed Curated Curriculum. All of the art history units, art criticism activities, and professional development courses and trainings are available for full access at all times for ALL members.

Plus, The Curated Connections Library is a living and growing space. New materials are released regularly.

Yes! All of the PowerPoints, quizzes, worksheets, etc. are provided in editable formats.
